KOEP is Andrea and Andrea is KOEP. Andrea has been a hairdresser since 1988. Somewhere along the journey she did hairstyling for magazines but she prefers being in contact with all sorts of people. Her keen eye on humon nature and sense of humour make KOEP the kind of salon where you just might meet your new best friends.

In a quiet little street near the Negen Straatjes (Nine Little Streets) you’ll find KOEP, a hair salon where you’ll be given lots of attention. KOEP cuts and colours without all the hypes and trends. Because your hair might grow back, but your hair style should suit you.

So KOEP is about natural healthy hair, about beautifying your own ‘sources’. Which is possible with the great variety of cut-and colourtechniques that KOEP offers and has been using for 25 years. Your hair should make you happy, that’s the aim. So KOEP does not offer peroxide or hair extensions nor will KOEP colour you blue. This doesn’t mean your hair will be boring, it will have a great cut and colour. KOEP cuts women and men and children (and children in a grown up style).

No nonsense approach

At KOEP you’ll be looked after by one person and it’s this attention that makes all the difference. You can bring a picture, ofcourse, but KOEP will observe the way you walk in, the way you dress, will ask you about your lifestyle and, above all, listen to what you have to say. KOEP uses Italian hairdyes OiVita, based on olive oil and Macademia oil. Highlights, balayage (highlights done with a brush) or a complete new colour. You can come in for a colour or a haircut, but also for a wash and blow-dry only. KOEP uses Sebastian and EVO products. Sebastian for its gentle formulas (it makes hair feel soft) and for its classics like Potion 9. Australian brand EVO because of its no-nonsense approach of hair.

Quality time

So now you know: KOEP is a spot where some people have been client for over 20 years. They serve good coffee, and if you want you can engage in a conversation, or you just don’t and relax. KOEP offers the sort of me-time that you’ll look forward to again in 6 weeks time. But hey, the mirror says your hair still looks great. Should you cancel your appointment? No you won’t!
